B) Ahoy, Pete, John would have to answer that. The ones I have are on John's old trailer that I am buying from him. It is in my storage but if I pull the wheels the landlord will want it mobile real soon. We got this stupid fool going around looking for untagged and imobile vehicles here in storage. Even old parts trucks, cars, boats all have to be tagged. This place has gotten real stupid.

We have got to do something there, Sherrif!

B) I am on my way back from Ozark, Al with what resembles something like a truck. This is going to be a disaster. There is no way the car lot can recoup some of the money still owed on the truck. This is not going to go well. Any suggestions?

Looks OK to me. What's wrong with it? Does it run? Russ you would be surprised what trucks are selling for. Even a junker is going for big bucks.

B) I called Pen wood Lodge. My reservations were gone. I had reserved my room for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as I did every year. I get there on Fridays and help set up. Saturday we cook out, I pack about 5 or 6 pounds of those awesome ribs away and stash a few for Sunday and Monday in the fridge. Sunday I help get the place cleaned up and help with loading the tables, chairs and whatever other cleanup I can. Then I run to the Museum and then do some detecting III NG on the beach. Sunday afternoon we sometimes go out on the water with whatever boat I drug along. Mondays are just a relaxing fishing or cruising day and we leave Monday afternoon. Okay, my Friday to Monday reservations are missing. I managed to get the Thursday and Friday before the cookout but not Sat, Sun and Mon. I thought it over and Thursday is worthless. Why go up before any Pirates arrive? I was told that I am on the list if anything opens up. Most of the reservations are for Friday and Saturday. I should be able to get Sunday and Monday after the cookout is over but even then it's just hit and miss. I may just end up getting up early and drive up there Friday, staying Saturday and leaving after the cookout on Saturday. Last year I was very sick from my chemo on Friday but by Saturday morning I was much better and raided the grill with great gusto..

I could drag a boat and use it as a camper trailer. It has everything needed for camping. Even on land. We'll see what turns up.
Anyhow, I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I am there for the ribs, eeeerrrr I mean cookout. ????

I tried to warn you Russell. Both my reserved rooms for all 3 nights were gone and I'm the one that is putting the damn thing on! I managed to squeeze one back when I went over 3 weeks ago. Maybe you can shack up with somebody on Saturday. We'll figure out a way.

Yes! There is new management and they screwed everything up. I noticed something wrong when they didn't ask for a credit card when making reservations.

Hey Russ I just got my truck back from the repair shop. They had it over 2 weeks. It now has twin turbo's, 450 horsepower. I wish!

I bought two new tires for John's trailer. Call me and let me know when you want to go down there. I don't know your schedule. Call anytime.

John, I may bring one of my boats to use as a camper. Maybe I can convert the covered wagon into a small camper trailer of sorts. There has to be a place in the back of the hotel in that field where we parked my Aquasport. I have several boats and a golf cart to sell. Maybe I will just wait and see if anything turns up available at the Pennwood. No serious problem. I could even get up a little early and drive over in the morning and drive home at night. :woohoo:

B) Ahoy Pete, I am grounded for a while. Sherene is back in the hospital and her daughter is on house arrest so I am tied to the house too. I have to run the daughter everywhere because they won't let her drive and now Sherene is not able to. That effectively curbs any attempt for me getting out of the house either. With Sherene down I am the last licensed driver in the house. Getting the kid to work and doctor appointments, shopping or whatever else she needs to do now falls on me.

I found a big boat that I think I can afford if I can sell off a few things really quick. I have a little money but I am still a little over $5,400 short. I am going to put several things up for sale in the next day or two including I.R.Baboon, my covered work trailer and some other items. The boat I want to get is big. About 50 feet or there about. I went aboard with Dad this afternoon. It looks good, both engines are running but the fuel is old and needs to have the tanks cleaned. I can set it up to run on auxiliary tanks for a short time until I get one of those fuel scrubber companies to empty the old fuel and clean the tanks out. Then I can refill them as I get the money from selling off whatever I have left. The boat has everything ready to move aboard. A marine fridge, microwave, cookstove, washer and dryer and A/C and it looks pretty good. It does need some TLC here and there but nothing serious. I don't have any photos yet because I lost my smart phone. I still have my little smartass flip phone but it is as much of an idiot as I am. Go figure! Anyhow, I have to figure out how to come up with the rest of the money I need to get this boat paid for. I thought about getting a loan but I just finished paying off my truck and was thinking about possibly selling it to raise the money for the boat. My truck is listed at around $10K to $15K. I have all of the goodies it could have and is still in good condition. Minor dings and such but with the Super Duty 4X4 and the 8 foot bed it is a great work truck. I have pulled some pretty heavy loads and such including hauling Baboon up here from Stock Island down next to Key West. I have moved the Hatteras and a couple of other big boats around the shop and from the marina to the shop and down to the end of the river. I have hauled other vehicles cross country and a couple of weeks ago went up to Alabama to haul a Ford F-150 down here. My truck has no problem hauling.

I should be able to get pretty close to if not the full $10K on the lower value end. On the other hand I might just re-fi it for about $6K and keep it I think the finance company would be more than glad to get my payments coming in again. I just finished paying off the original $16K loan in three years without missing a single payment. That should carry a little weight I would think.

Anyhow, I am being tested and going through all sorts of crazy exams to see if I qualify for the Stem-Cell treatment for this bone marrow cancer. If I do I have heard it is pretty good at stopping the cancers. I have it in both my bones and the bone marrow along with soft tissue and in my blood. It has been getting harder and harder to stop each time it comes back. I don't know how much longer it can be pushed into remission or dealt with. I don't want to spend whatever time I have left in this place. I am a water person not a dirt dweller. I have hated this place ever since the wife refused to sell it. I bought it just to fix it up and flip it to get a bit of a bank built up so I could use the money to keep White Feather traveling from place to place. Once the wife moved in here I couldn't get her to leave. She kept on me to sell feather and get a smaller boat. I should have sold her and left with Feather. I still have 20/20 hindsight. Oh well, I'll figure something out. For now I may just look into making a loan against my truck. That sounds like the easiest and fastest way to get the boat paid for. I can always sell off a few things as I go along and put the lion's share of whatever I get to pay the loan off early. This house is paid for too. I can put it up real cheap and it will sell real fast. The place next door has been up for sale about a year for $120,000. I could say you can save over $100,000 and I'll give you change if you buy mine. I have a lot of big ticket items around here that will do nobody any good just sitting here. It's time to turn them into retirement cash. I would rather live aboard a boat than to live here while I still can. Even if I spend most of the time tied up in a marina. I still would have the option of going out on anchor once in a while.

Doesn't this look better than that dump I am in now? I would ratherbe tied to the dock than sitting in this stupid 55 plus place where I have to pay over $880 a month to park a trailer and my boat. And it goes up every year. Nope, I want to get the boat and get back out on the water.

Yup, I am going to go see if I can get back out on the water. I may not be able to go very far but I can still feel the water under me and know that I am back living the life I love. We will be tied to our doctors and mu chemo if the Stem-Cell doesn't work but I would rather be sitting out on the water and relaxing. Here I now have no way to do anything I want to do. Way to many people here running my life and demanding me time. My time is getting more valuable to me every day. I need to go and I need to go soon.

I would have to pay them to take her. I tried that with the wife and they brought her back and said her mouth was broke and would never stop talking. I had to agree so I am still paying the bills. :S

I took her some Bar-B-Que ribs, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and hot German style cucumber salad for dinner last night and she seemed nearly normal. Her blood pressure was down to 130/58. That's way to low for her. She gets dizzy spells and passes out when it gets that low. I tried to explain that to the nurses but they think nobody knows anything but them and they just ignore it.

I have to go to the tag office to get a trailer tag sometime later today so I can move a couple of boats this weekend. I have to get that Bass Boat away from my shop. The never ending story of the life of a waterman landlocked in a dirt house.

B) My Dad came down last week and we have been spending as much time together as we could. He and my step-Mom left for the return trip to Baltimore this morning and I am just getting to bed. I have another very early day tomorrow so I don't have much time this evening. I will catch up tomorrow but for now just a quick catchup.

Dad and Step-Mom, Jean left on the Car-Train instead of trying to drive the 1,000 miles this time. They were worn out from the trip down so they thought it best to just put the car on a train and head home that way. They will arrive in northern Virginia sometime tomorrow about mid afternoon. It's a long trip but a lot better than having to drive. I think our driving back and forth that kind of distances done. From now on we will take a plane and either rent a car or borrow one at either end.

We didn't get to go out fishing this trip due to the weather having a bit to much wind all week but we still had plenty to do and had a great visit.

I am dead tired and need to get up at 5;30 so I can't spend a lot of time on here tonight but I will gat back to catching up tomorrow or Sunday. Sorry about getting so far behind but I wanted to spend as much time with Dad as I could. I will get some photos together and get caught up over the next few days.

:S No CHAINS! I am sure it had chains going down there. I thought it had lights also but I moved it during the day and don't remember for sure.

I am in a serious situation with all this Stem Cell qualification, testing and such. Also, the in house arrest of the daughter, the wife's dementia and now I was told that I have to drive up to Lake City in a few days to get her other daughter. She says she is `'just stopping for a quick visit on her way to Oregon to move in with her son and his wife. The last time she visited us she was here 7 months. We`ll see.

I hung for sale signs on two boats and my truck after chemo today. I figure to sell the truck and use the money as a down payment on a new truck. I am tired of working on this one every few days. It now has to have the steering column removed so I can get to the shift indicator slide where it shows what gear the truck is in. Without it the truck doesn't know what I am telling it to do.w

I am trying to get some rest and catch up on sleep but it's not cooperative for me. It seems that the more I do, the worse I am feeling. I seldom get much rest at night Ethier. Right now I am sitting here listening to the cat racing up and down the mobile. Somebody needs to shoot that cat!

2:00 , Time to go fix some oyster stew or sushi.
