Re: DELL 10 Months ago Karma: 4
Dell, what is the medication that Trudy is on that is causing the bruising? There is a new blood thinner that causes bruising without any trauma and it is very dangerous, it can cause death, I think it is called Plavix.. What happens is the blood leaks out of the veins and arteries like with Scurvey, it really is a dangerous drug. Actually they have found that it increases heart attack and stroke two fold. It is not a good drug, it is a bad drug. There is already ads on TV from lawyers, wanting people who have had family members die from this to call. I really dont know why it is still being prescribed. let me know what that is and I will see if it is the same. I answered your other post, I will fix your boat if you could cover my gas costs, and any part costs. It most likely is the fuel pump, which shouldnt be a problem.

GOING FOR THE GOLD!

I'm leaving Tuesday for Homossassa Springs and a Gulf exploration trip in the Van & 13 foot whaler. My base of operation will be from the "Camp n Water" camp grounds. There's not much money left for fuel to travel back & forth to the Gulf, so I'll try camping out on the water in the dinghy to save fuel and see how that works out.

The Antibiotics starting affecting my ligaments & joints so my biggest concern ( aside from leaving Trudy) is if I have enough strength in my legs to get back in the boat after I'm in the water? A few trials will be in order after I arrive.

If any one is going to be in that area while I am up there, give me a call at 863 422 5454, and we will see if we can get together.

Thank you for all the kind birthday wishes.

All the best! Dell

Hi Dell,

You take care now. I hope you have a great find and all goes well. We have submitted the proposal to the Government for the salvage work in the Harbor and just waiting for some response which usually takes a long time. Call me when you get a chance, would like to hear how you are making out.

Good luck and good hunting!

Chris.

I just got off the phone with Dell, He is coming up this way tuesday. I gave him my cell number in case he has any problems. If I can't get there I can call people who can. Good luck my friend, I hope you come home with the gold! Be safe.

Re: DELL 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 11
Many Thanks Jeff. I had to delay another day and expect to leave Wednesday. I got hit again by another Brown Recluse, and this time the toxin went in to a joint and caused enough pain to keep me from getting any sleep last night.

If there are no problems at home that would require me to abort the mission then after I use up my
time at the Homosassa campgrounds, I would like to come up and park at your place and launch from Old Fort, which is closer to where there may be as many as 6 Treasure ships that were captured and burned to the water line with most of the Treasure still on board. I'm hoping to grid the area with the Side Scan sonar to try to find an anchor, cannon, or ballast that may not be buried below the sand. It should take me about 3 days.

Thank you for the support. I look forward to seeing you again. Dell
