For those who are technically challenged (like myself) and want to convert the pdf files to Kindle ebook format for ease in reading....I found the following:

Converting PDF to Kindle ebook format

There are a few ways you can convert your PDF files into formats accessible to your Kindle.

The first is by emailing your PDF file to your Kindle account email address. If you want the resulting ebook to be sent wirelessly, send the PDF as an attachment to your user name @kindle.com (replacing yourusername with your actual Kindle username, of course). You’ll be charged a fee of 15 cents per megabyte for having the file delivered this way.

If you want to get your converted file without a fee, send the PDF as an attachment to your user name @free.kindle.com. The converted file will be sent back to you via email for free, and you can then transfer it to your Kindle via USB connection (or in the case with a hacked ereader or a tablet ...which has both internet and Kindle ereader... just open the converted file in your email and it will prompt for the program to open....choose Kindle)

No additional suggestions, however, I did note that at least one of the files had a kindle version available for download. Perhaps more than one, I only noticed the one.

A quick check shows the following two have a kindle version for download.

Just back from the mainland seeking what passes for medical care here. Note to explorers investigating caves in the Carribean.....Beware of disturbing iguana feces. Just contracted a nasty staph infection on my arm from digging in the wrong place. Be sure to wear protective hand coverings and clothing when digging around lizard crap.

Isoprinosine is an immunostiumulator that acts both as an immune booster and an antiviral. It contains the active ingredient Isoprinosine, which is one of the basic compounds found in our body cells. It is also a dual action drug. On the one hand it works on the immune system to strengthen it and normalise its response to infections, and on the other it significantly reduces the symptoms and period of infection of a viral attack.

Isoprinosine is one of the many brand names of the drug; other names under which it is marketed around the world include Imunovir, Viruxan, Prinosine, and Virimun. Isoprinosine is not a direct treatment for either of these conditions and it does not have the ability to cure these diseases. Chemotherapy treatment weakens the immune system of cancer patients and makes them highly susceptible to viral and other infections. When taken as an adjuvant, Isoprinosines immune boosting capabilities allow the patients immune system to quickly return to normal functioning and fight off any infections.

Imunovir or Isoprinosine is believed to act in a similar manner for AIDS patients by strengthening their immune system. This allows patients to live a normal life and fight against the disease for a longer period of time.

HIO tex luv, I have no idea on Guillian Barre, but since GB apparently is an uncontrolled auto immune thingy, and since the Isoprinosine is an auto immune system rebuilder / stabilizer, It just might.

Will check on importation to the US -- Texas IS still part of the US no?
