Howdy all yall !! I am Kerry from Clyde Texas (outside of Abilene) I am trying everyway I know to get some treasure hunting equipment. I was a very active and proactive Police Officer, until I had a stroke that caused me to lose half my eyesite on both eyes. Well because of this they took away my drivers license, and the ability to drive. You talk about crushing a mans spirit !! But I am a fighter, and a Christian and I aint down yet. I have taken this opportunity to do what I always wanted to do, treasure/nugget hunt !!
I am looking for anything that yall may have and want to get rid of. I am currently in need of everything. I do have a gold pan though !!! I was looking up Long Range Locators and saw where there was a post on here from a member who said that he makes his, and I am trying to find him.
Good to be here amongst people of like minds and interest.

Ah, but alas, no cannons thunder, no ships to plunder, no wayward ports to lay asunder... o what misfortune! The miserable fate of a pirate born too late. (Jimmy Buffett)

Quick question eaglewing. How far are you from Tuscola, TX. There is a gentleman there that has an ACE 250 with multiple coils and a backpack for it (the machine is mine, and he is no longer using it heavily.

I may be in the area this coming weekend and might be able to deliver for your use. Please advise via e-mail at leaveb01@gmail.com.

And a warm Welcome from Sunny Southwest Florida. There are lots of things going on here and many of the characters are for real. The names have been changed to protect the guilty when necessary. Otherwise, we are all one big gathering of family and friends with a common interest, where is the booty hidden!

Post pictures and show off your hunting and finds. That's what it's all about.

Hi - I am dickie65 and very happy to be a member in this fine forum. I am 72 years old, happily married and living in Florida. I have been retired for several years except for my service as a Fire Chaplain for a small Fire and Rescue Department. I am currently planning to come out of retirement with the launching of a web site directed at Fire and Rescue workers nationally. I am a grandfather 17 and great grandfather of 5 with two more on the way.

The thing that attracts me to this site is my family history. I am related to shipping merchants that lived in New Bedford Mass from the early 1700's. I am specifically related to William Roach and William Roach Jr. The Roach family had a small financial ownership interest is a British ship named the SS Fox. The French government commandeered the ship and eventually gave the family a silver lacquered fox as reparations for their loss. I have inherited the fox and plan to leave it to my daughter. I am interested to know what happened to the ship and if anyone can tell me what my fox could be valued.

Ahoy Dickie65,
Welcome Aboard! The best way to start your own thread is to click on the "start a new thread" block at the bottom or top of the page and enter your information. It will start your own thread and others can jump in without pirating what others are doing. Most don't mind anyhow but when you start your own thread others know where to find you and it helps keep the topic from wandering through the forest and following differant paths. I have had others jump in with totally unrelated ideas or subject matter and don't mind it at all but there are some that like the subject to stay on the ideas and subject that they started. I think it is fun either way. Again, Welcome Aboard from sunny Southwest Florida's forgotten treasure coast.
