I may purchase these books later when I have time and money to search for portions of this treasure. A treasure I can not search the area for I usually do not research on. I do have thoughts about Victorio Peaks but even they may be wrong. I believe Victorio Peaks was a Spanish Depository or it could have be one of King Solomon's mine. My favorite thought was the center city of the Seven Cities of Cibola with three more West and three to the East.

IT looks like a good read. I hope Jack's doing better. Last time I heard he was fighting cancer. I wish him long life and success with his new books. I did some hunting and was in the group for a while looking for some of doc noss bars.

Looks like a good read Tim. I was at the peak in 77 and there were some real shennanigans going on to prevent anyone from actually finding the treasure. Quite an adventure.

I just talked with Jack yesterday and he is doing fine. When I go to the Caballo's at the end of this month I will be going to visit him

Will do I talk with Jack at least once a week sometimes more. Tito and Hugo keeps an eye on my claim for me while I am in California. I also talked with Jolly before he passed away because Thayer before he passed was looking for the staches as well.

I am assuming that the visit mentioned to Victoria Peak in 1977 was as part of Expeditions Unlimited Inc's "Operation Goldfinder" 13-day treasure expedition conducted by Norman Scott? Although it appears to have been very uneventful, an interesting book on the expedition was written by Phil A. Koury entitled "Treasure of Victoria Peak".

My interest in Victoria Peak was back in the mid-1980's when I was considering bringing Mr. Scott aboard on my Llanganati recovery project as a consultant, contractor, investor or partner. For reasons explained in my book, I chose not to pursue Mr. Scott's services.

Hello All

The victorio Peak story is facinating but with all the stories out there and different versions of events claimed it is getting harder to sort the fact from the fiction.

I completely agree and think that is the case with any treasure story. The same has happened with my Llanganati project, that's one of the reasons I wrote my book, to separate fact from fiction and correct the misinformation, misdirection and errors of previous authors on the topic.

Hello Ivcharb

I think trying to sort out the fact from the fiction goes with the territory with treasure legends.

I think Victorio Peak has had a fair share of scammers seeking a quick buck over the years. Like with many legends. These claims tend to cloud the facts of the orginal story.

I am looking forward to reading your book.

After talking with Jack who wrote the Gold House he states that the books are now out for purchase. I have found them them to be a very interesting read. I do believe that if you get a set you will find them interesting as well and they were written with the blessings of the heirs of the Noss group.
