I just joined this week and I really like what I see in a great bunch of people, and with the travelers and adventurers on this site, it's fantastic.
You guys are like a family.
Anyway, I live in Stuart, I am a scuba diver and just purchased a German underwater detector (that I'm dying to try), I really want to do beach detecting and diving in the 1715 Fleet areas (of course, staying clear of the leases).(and other places also)
Are there any local clubs or meetings going on with similar interests? I'd love to get hooked up with some good people.
I know the Treasure Coast Metal Detecting club is defunct.
Any help or information would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks, Xman

xman229, here is a link from our Resources and Links page that should be a wealth of information for Florida beach detecting. This should get you pointed in the right direction.

Looking forward to reading about all your new finds,
