Tommy, we all occationally need repair information. I see Lobster pirate just posted a great repair site for minelab and was wondering about a list of repair centers for all types of detectors where we can add to the list and maybe even give our evaluations of the service recieved when dealing with them. Not just something for new units but guenine repair centers and even private electronics wizzards who do good work.

Thanks Tom,
White Feather

Excellent idea, we will need to start collecting good information from reputable repair centers. I can add a repair section when we get a few options for folks.

B) I have the lifetime on my Surfmaster also but according to them it's life ends at 25. I got mine in 89 so it is getting close to it's end of days. Yours will to when you get old. Ooops, sorry, I forgot you are ALMOST as old as me.  Check and see what the manufacuter says is it's "Lifetime" guarantee limit is. In human or detector years. I think they are pretty close together.

I've already had Fisher send me a new CZ21 to replace the Impulse that went bad. Wish I had my Impulse back!

I don't really know. But it was when Hopalong Cassidy was popular! Maybe 1950.

I think he went into TV around 47 or very close. Maybe 48? Anyhow he was already famous from the movies that started in the mid 30's I think. He was born around 1895 and died in 1972. I wasn't really a fan, Ya Think? Still got my Hoppy guns someplace if one of my sisters didn't throw them away. This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

Not to many people I recommend but Keith Wills is a good friend and repairs most detectors. Tell him I sent you. I will be helping him in the WWATS booth at the texas treasure show in march. Here's his site.

B) Yeah Tom, you can add White's repair Center in Sweethome, Oregon. I have used them 3 or 4 times and recieved great service and a very fast turnaround. Prices were good also as far as I was concerned. They have a couple of other repair centers but Sweethome is the one I dealt with most. Feel free to add them to your list. :cheer:
