 Just hit the report to moderator button, Judy. Like this.........

The button looks to me like a standard modern Army dress greens uniform button still in use today.

B) Yeah, I also noticed that these type of commercial inserters are new members. Like only a very few posts. Usually only one or two. I think they register just to throw a few adds into the thread and then run.

nmercer21, did you have any other finds? I used to hunt all over Virginia many years ago. Mostly the Old Eastern Shore around Cape Charles but also all over the area south of the Maryland line. Lots of very old history there. Good Luck.

Not yet White Feather! Do you have any good places for me to go check out? What are your thoughts on Old House Woods? Do you think there is any validity to any of the stories? Hope you are doing well!

B) Be careful trekking around on private property over on the shore. Shotgun is spoken fluently all over. Be sure you are hunting on the correct property. Any place on the shore is good. History in the states started out on the shore and settlements and homes were there long before the Revolutionary War. Graveyards and old settlements are all over the place. Where there were churches and graveyards there were sizable settlements. Most are lost deep in the woods as early settlers had Indian problems along with lots of other history. Right up to Civil War prisons and encampments. Do some research on the shore. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Good luck. :woohoo:
