:( I think I have someplace to be that day. Something about hanging out with a bunch pirate types at some kind of cookout but we'll try to drop in on your festivities too. Yea, we'll most likely be there if we are still on our feet from the grog and grub of the other event of the same name and place. See Ya! :woohoo:

I am saddened to report that I will not be able to attend this years cookout :(
I hope that this years cookout is as successful as all the previous cookouts. I look forward to seeing all the pictures posted by all my treasure hunting friends.

Tommy, I'll get a new battery for my camera and shoot a couple of hundred shots to post for you. You know how I tend to over do it when I start taking photos. Count on it. I'll see if I can get some good facial shots of all your friends and treasure hunting cronies. You will be missed, my friend. :(

Y'all have now idea how much I wish that I had been able to make it up to Florida for this years cookout. This morning I have been viewing the many post from my fb friends who have been posting many pictures of all the festivities. Wow, it looks like it was an absolute success with hundreds in attendance, and gorgeous weather for all to enjoy.

It is absolutely amazing to see how much this annual cookout has grown from the brain child of John (Aquanut), with the first few cookouts taking place at his home in Orlando, those days were equally awesome.

It was good to see photos of so many of my old friends having such a good time, and to also see lots of folks I have never meet in attendance. Good job guys and gals, and I truly hope that we are able to make it back to Florida for next years cookout.

:woohoo: The cookout was definitely an unequaled success. It had to have the largest crowd we have ever had at any cookout to date. John was tirelessly at keeping everything running smooth and was the main reason it did go so well. I posted some photos last night and just got home myself. It is Sunday night. I was going to go to the beach tomorrow but the wife kept calling and I decided to head home early in case she needed anything. I did manage to get to the beach for a short time and did a little walking with one of my detectors and drowned a couple of lures trying to catch something for dinner. I ended up catching some fish at Publix and we will have it tomorrow for lunch. I have many photos but will have to reduce their size so I can upload them without to much trouble. Smaller photos are better.

Ropesfish did an outstanding job on the ribs and I tried to put away as many as I could. I stalled somewhere around 6 I think. I also took two to my room and woke up at 4 A.M, and heated them up and had a very early breakfast of champions of ribs, hamburger, chicken, cereal with bananas and peaches. I am trying to gain back all of the 80 pounds I have lost over the last year. All of the food was exceptional and everyone was enjoying the company and festivities from the auction to the raffle.

You and Dell were sorely missed. I hope we took enough photos. I'll try to figure out how to send a photo slide show or some way to get 300 or so photos to you.

I hope you can find the treasure you are searching for. I would love to be able to be doing what you are but that has to be left to those of you in better health to do. I am watching and keeping the faith that you will be the next big discoverer of lost treasure. Good Luck, My Friend.
