Blackbeard, I have been using the Excal 1000 for the last 10 years. Its an outstanding machine underwater and has never disappointed me.

Thank you for the information do you dig all hits. I have a fisher IV I use but the mineralzation of wet sand gives of course false readings in the 20's on ID but when I do get a hit of silver or ring its a constant ID number
I love to get a good water machine with ID of what the item is

Yes, I dig everything since I look for shipwreck artifacts made with iron, and gold sounds just like aluminum, I pretty much dig it all. The result is that I haul out a lot of trash. However, I also walk away with valuable (too me), artifacts that other treasure hunters walk right over.
