Hello All,

Lost this site due to a computer crash. But Im back thanks to McBubble.

I dont dowse but do feel a area when I walk into it. I have read several good post about dowsing and techniques.

I have a old site I wish to dowse. I have never dowsed. I am looking for a cache buried 2 feet or less. I live in the desert. So a hunt would go Sand, more sand, oh a rock, then a bush. Then more sand......

It would be a perfect oportunity to use dowsing for me. I know there is stuff there. May just be old iron or relics. But this campsite, and others need looked at harder.

I currently use a 7 foot walking stick from a yucca plant, and my digital camera. They dont fail me. But wish to try dowsing, and then run a detector over a few suspected areas.

Its a old camp, been occupied by many. I suspect theres everything from a cave, to a vault at sea level.

I will put aside a few hours tonight to see what is suggested and read up. I will have to make my own sticks. Wood is hard to come by, but I know where some Juniper trees are that should suffice.

I will be using a Detector to help with the search.

Thanks

This is the only site I can go to that Dowsers dont get beat up to the point it ruins the conversation. I think the way Dowsers approach a site is critical in any search, no matter what you hunt. People dont get it.

I am a practical person. I believe in god. But I have a unpractical site that needs a new approach. Maybe the same approach used 300 years ago. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi there Casca,
How about posting a picture here for whomever wants to dowse your site.
If you do post one, make sure you keep the coordinates off the bottom.

Well I have several area. Here is a picture you will have to enlarge. Im sorry about the quality, but I just couldn't get it any better. You are looking at a old Toltec/mayan rock snake. Since there is a pictogram on it, and Spanish signs. I suspect a cave close by. Let me know if anyone gets a hit.

I warn you now. There is several pointer rocks that have identified several items in the picture. I have walked the area extensivly and can figure out what ever you find. Thanks.

Pretty solid tailings pile. Maybe a lava tube. The bush to the right has signs of something going on, have a large boulder there and several others. the way the wash ran caught my attention. Havent looked at my pics yet. Ill post another pic.

I have another somewhere if you need it. But this one covers the front. I do believe there is a chamber out of the frame to the right. I believe it is old, toltec/mayen or some other. The area has many trail signs, but this one stumped me. There is some pictograms on the snake, but dont believe these pictures bring them out.

I first thought this was a tailings pile too, but its really solid.

Once you select the picture with the browse button below, you need to click the (img) button next to it, this will load it into the post. Also ensure that the pic size is reduced to fit 768x1024 Max. If you cant resize the image you can upload it to the Gallery, and it will automatically resize the picture for you. Then you can copy it to your post.
Hope that helps!

I appreciate your help but this is not working and becoming quite ridiculus, it's taking me longer to try and post these pictures than it did to dowse them.
What exactly do I need to do to accomplish this?
Plz give me step by step and don't leave out any details. The pictures were saved as jpg the same size as they appear on the screen. Am I not doing something correct?
Thanks,
Jon

Hi casca I get a man made deposit of gold and silver coins almost in the center of the picture. Looks
like a rock with a dark shadow on the left of the rock.

Hi Etowah,

I will be sure to check out that spot for you and let all know what is found if any. I will split it with ya if sucessful. But my detecting and digging is no match for your hard work. Guess this site has alluded me.

Can I ask what you use to dowse, and is there any basic way I can dowse this site. It will be Monday before I can get back to this spot.

The spoils of this site was taken and reburied by the Natives to keep the white man away. Unfortunately the valley floor is covered with housing complex's.

I do appreciate your answer.

I use photobucket for pictures. Its free, and I can see who is accessing my pictures.

You can email me also, I will pm you my email.

If your up to a very large site, I have several photos for you to look at. But I suggest we work on one spot at a time.

Thanks

Thought I should add some pics for you guys, enjoy. These are pics of my last site. I have found nothing more than artwork.
This is a suspected area. My last photo was marked mayan snake. But this is the real snake. It may be a lava tube.

I kept ending up at this particular tree. I suspect this spot was used for something.

This small pyramid under a rock has my attention.

This area has a small cave, but I think the treasure may be above on the left.

This blocked cave may have been a burial crypt. It has cool air coming out of it in 90' degree temps.

This is a pointer rock, and yep, its pointing down below.

I have a lot of sign in this area. If you like I can post more of the nearby mountains and valley floor.
